Atlasity Announces Support for Single Sign On (SSO) with Azure Active Directory (AD)

As C2 Labs Atlasity Continuous Compliance Automation platform has continued to gain traction in large enterprise environments, one of the most frequently requested features has been support for SSO using Azure AD. Most enterprises trust Microsoft AD to serve as a secure repository of people information and a common directory that can be used to support authentication and authorization decisions. While Atlasity has long supported syncing AD and allowing delegated authentication, we have taken that support a step further by allowing customers to optionally integrate Azure AD SSO to provide a seamless and secure login experience without the need for a user to login using their email and password. In addition, this integration allows Atlasity accounts to follow the same on-boarding and off-boarding processes used for corporate accounts to further improve security.

"More and more of our customers are moving towards a Zero Trust model in the cloud where identity is of critical importance. The majority of those customers are building on their trust and experience with Microsoft AD to improve their identity management processes in the cloud. With this integration, we are better able to support our customer's Zero Trust journey and to provide a more seamless user experience for Atlasity users," said Travis Howerton, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of C2 Labs. " This is one of the rare examples of security and user experience expectations being in alignment. Customers get a more secure login experience while also avoiding the need to enter an username and password. Cyber security gets a centralized cloud authentication source where they can enable advanced capabilities around Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) badges, and other modern adaptive authorization approaches. This approach creates a win-win scenario for both users and cyber security."

The Azure AD SSO integration is available to all Enterprise Edition (EE) customers on version 2.4.0 or later of the Atlasity platform.
